1973 MGB GT

Nearly completed restoration of a very nice
example.  I redid the mechanicals, had body and paint done professionally,
upholstery is dark blue cloth as originally fitted, has two nearly new 6
volt batteries, has correct rubber mats and has original carpeting.  Has
refurbished Rostyles w/ 165-14 Dunlop radials which are like new as there
are very few miles on the car since installation.  I have a professionally
rebuilt OD gearbox which is not installed, redone by Jerry Redmon of Napa
Valley Auto Restorations.  The car does need minor completion- some
interior pieces need installing, needs some tidying up.
$4,500.

Wanted

'63-'67 MGB roadster.
I'd like a nice example, but would look at others.  Would also consider purchase of parts accumulations for early MGBs.  I have a '73 MGB GT which I could trade toward an early B roadster also.

1962 MGA MkII

I am offering my 1962 totally refurbished MG A MkII. This is about an 8 year old restoration. It has been restored off-frame back to its original state except the engine is an early 1800cc MGB 3-main engine that has also been completely rebuilt to unleaded fuel standards (upgraded valves and seats with manganese bronze guides) and fitted with Weber carburetor.  All receipts available (I should have bought stock in Moss Motors before I started).  Bumpers and grill – new. I went with the early grill.  All rubber hoses and bits – new.  Fuel lines and hydraulic lines – new.  Wiring and all electrical – new and negative earth to accommodate modern accessories.  Rebuilt master and slave clutch and brake cylinders.  Tan leather seats and matching interior.  New tonneau cover, new Robbins black soft-top.  Note the custom crafted solid teak dash and matching cockpit rails.  Original steel dash comes with the car, btw.  I tried to do a first class job on this restoration and I think it shows.
Asking price is $22,500.00 ($21,500 if you mention this ad – but all offers considered).

Super clean 69 MGB for sale

I goofed and bought a way too nice MGB about a year ago, so clean that I've only driven it three times since. It doesn't do me much good that the engine compartment looks as if the car was built a week ago, or that the interior is all new and perfect, as is the exterior and the mechanicals after a complete nut-and-bolts restoration. I'm just not into shows.
That it runs, drives and looks like a new car is great, of course, but I can't force myself to fully enjoy this vehicle the same way I can with my beater MGB, or the V8 powered one.
It's a creamy white color with black interior - leather seats and all.
I can't really call it restored, although everything has been replaced or rebuilt, since it's been slightly modified. For example, the chrome wire wheels are held on with real spinners, not the "Nader nuts" a '69 should have. Also, the sidemarker lights were eliminated, plus it has a Robbins cloth top, aftermarket exhaust, and a satellite radio.
Not-so-good is that while the tires look like new, they're not. And it doesn't have an overdrive trans - although I did buy one for it, had Darrin go through the whole thing, and it could be sold with the car.
Why sell the car? Well, I don't use it. Even worse, it makes the MG TD sit outside.
Not counting the transmission, I have just over $16,000 in this MGB, and it's every bit as nice as the one in Big Bear that just sold for over $19,000 on eBay.
If you're interested, please e-mail me or call, preferably between 8 AM and 8 PM. Then come see it in person, by Agoura Hills. You won't be disappointed.
